Poland is becoming a military power
Poland's geopolitical project is its ambition to become a regional power. Poland's military ambitions are a reaction to threats from the east. The invasion of Ukraine has made Poland's investment in military, including material as well as larger armed forces, a top priority. Well done for all the efforts to increase the national security of Poland. Europe is not as secure as everyone thought.

Capitalism is woke
Those hard brexiteers, generally proponents of a more white Britain or simply less multi-cultural, not only have to deal with the LibDems, the Greens or the left of the Labour party, but also woke capitalism. According to Andrew Marr the biggest force is the market sector, the private sector. Quote: if you want to see woke at full throttle, look at the big corporations, the banks, the lawyers, look at the buyers of advertising or advertising agencies. Private and public organizations are mainly interested in customers and employees. They have to deal with fierce competition and are listening to trends. Woke is now a capitalist demand. If the hard right wants to go to war with woke, they should prepare to take on a fight with the whole capitalist system.

Putin supposedly wants Alaska back
Russia sold Alaska to the U.S. for $7.2 million in 1867. This was in a time before the great rivalry, before the cold war, before modern hostilities as noted by the reporter. This new rumour is related to the decree Putin signed on the 18th of January in which funds were allocated to Russia's department for foreign property. The goal of this organization is to help find, register and protect Russia's property abroad. Quote: it is about protecting Russian assets, including the property of the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire (1721 to 1917). Putin wants to claim everything and that would include Alaska. More specifically, the rumour is that the sale of Alaska was illegitimate according to Putin. This rumour was picked up in the media and raised comments.

Humanity needs to return to the moon in order to learn how to live in space
Humanity needs to return to the moon in order to learn how to live in space. Secondly, there are useful resources on the moon, including water, in order to support people on the moon. The south pole most likely contains large reserves of water. Most of it is in very deep craters because no sunlight ever gets to them. Secondly, water can be used to produce rocket fuel. Other resources include rare-earth metals. These metals provide mining opportunities for private companies and countries. Finally, isotope helium-3 can be found on the moon and in theory can be used to power nuclear fusion reactors. The biggest competition is between the US and China and who can establish a presence on the moon first. Space law is encoded in The Outer Space Treaty of 1967, but is sometimes vague and ambiguous. The question is: who will claim the water rich areas first?

We need to prepare for war with Russia NOW
You may have noticed that high officials recently started talking about the possibility of world war 3. Totalitarian regimes want to do us harm. Us equals free world, including NATO but also Japan, South Korea, Australia, and possibly India. As put by Rear Admiral Chris Parry, "We are facing a totalitarian block of Russia, China, Iran and North Korea"; "We are back in the 1930s".

Donald Trump is not going to be a dictator
Donald Trump is not going to be a dictator. The press takes Trump's statement out of context. His said that he is only going to be a dictator for one or two days in order to close the border for illegal immigration and his 'Drill Baby Drill Agenda', as an alternative for energy. The press picked it up and cut the rest of the sentence.

Context behind Warsaw protests on Thursday (January 11 2024)
The context behind the Warsaw protests against arrest of ex-ministers is that pro-german Tusk is creating a form of dictatorship not seen in Poland since the Communist era. The two ministers were fighting corruption at the highest levels in Poland and are victims of a political process. The so-called pro-European policies and protection of democracy are nothing but lies. It shows the hypocracy of many liberal news channels. Another key motive behind the protests is that the new government has limited freedom of speech by taking control over media. There is a real power struggle going on in Poland.

What we know about the unidentified flying objects shot down in 2023
Four unidentified flying objects (UFOs) have been shot down in just eight days in 2023. The latest incident in a series of events occurred in Canadian airspace. Prime Minister Trudeu of Canada gave the order to take down a UFO over Lake Huron on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Is it a hype? Or can it be explained by greater military sensitivity and detection capability? What are these objects? Are they really spy technology? What is really going on? Based on intelligence, out of these four objects, not every one would qualify as a balloon. Military officials won't rule out aliens or alien technology.

The future of interstellar travel in the long term
It is difficult to predict the future of interstellar travel in the long term. Based on our current understanding of physics and engineering capability potential only a few concepts are promising, including: 1) warp drives based on wormholes (which is highly theoretical), 2) fusion, 3) contained fusion (or post fusion), 4) the light sail, 5) anti-matter, 6) Generation starships, and 7) the Blackhole Drive, a Schwarzschild Kugelblitz, an engine powered by an artificial black hole. Every option has serious drawbacks. Of all options, the most promising one in the short term is the light sail, intially designed for unmanned probes. It is pretty reasonable a light sail can achieve 10% lightspeed with modern materials like a carbon web sail driven by a microwave beam running on a single nuclear power plant. With this approach it would take 45 years to reach Alpha Centauri. One of the major problems is slowing down at the end. Other problems include the risk of tearing or melting.

The NEAR future of interstellar travel
Years after the Pioneer and Voyager missions, NASA initiated Project Longshot, a theoretical spacecraft to enter the orbit of Alpha Centauri. Another near-interstellar ship designed by NASA's New Horizons was launched in 2006. It surpassed Pluto in 2015 and arrived four years later in the Kuiper Belt. By 2043 New Horizons may enter interstellar space where it will continue detailed study of space. The next interstellar spacecraft will not launch until at least the 2030s. NASA plans include a nuclear powered spacecraft called Interstellar Probe. Other projects include: 1) Breakthrough Starshot, based on a light-powered propulsion system, and 2) EmDrive (Impossible Drive), which is a theoretical thruster that uses reflected microwaves to create huge amounts of thrust without using a propellant like gasoline. Other options include antimatter thrusters. But antimatter is rare, unstable and incredibly expensive. Warping starships at the speed of light or faster are still science fiction.

Flying cars are becoming a reality
Multicopters, Super drones, and other eVTOLs (electric vertical take-off and landing aircrafts) are starting to dominate the flying car concept. One of the challenges faced by Flying car producers is buy-in from various stakeholders. They need to get regulatory approval. The most important theme discussed is passenger safety. The application of drone technology in the context of flying cars could be explained by the the success of smaller drones, used for different purposes. The question is whether alternative concepts will start to appear anytime soon. These alternatives may depend on different models of physics or radical new ideas. In the meantime we can expect that super drones and their components will be improved. Some prototypes and production models are starting to look good.

NASA Mars rover Perseverance
The rover Perseverance, nicknamed Percy, is part of a NASA mission called Mars 2020. What is unique about Perseverance is that it will collect a number of samples from an ancient river delta. These samples will be returned to Earth based on future missions. The idea is that the rover will deliver the samples to a robotic lander equipped with a rocket to bring them back to study. Currently, the sample tubes are kept within its belly. Another unique feature is the Ingenuity, nicknamed Ginny, a small robotic helicopter. Ingenuity has performed many successful flights on Mars. Helicopters like Ingenuity could prove invaluable. For example, they could support rovers by scouting potential routes and identifying possible obstacles. Perseverance has also recorded sound on Mars based on two equipped microphones.

Knowledge about Exoplanets
Kepler is a space telescope that was used to discover Earth-sized planets orbiting other stars. It was launched in 2009 by NASA and retired on October 30, 2018, when it ran out of fuel, after nine years of service. Kepler enabled to measure stellar brightness precisely. The data it collected over its lifetime led to the discovery of 2,662 exoplanets. A newer NASA mission, TESS, launched in 2018, is continuing the search for exoplanets. Recently, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has confirmed the existence of an exoplanet for the first time.

Space Elevator
"The space elevator will be built about 50 years after everyone stops laughing." - Arthur C. Clarke Is building a Space Elevator only a practical problem, as Michio Kaku claims, related to the development of sufficient carbon nanotubes. Or is it also a theoretical challenge? Finding an answer is important because this science fiction concept might be safer, easier and cheaper than conventional rockets. Amazing idea or just science fiction? Funny comments on YouTube: On the topic of Space Elevators, I found some interesting comments on YouTube: 1) “I’ll take the stairs” (by Joe), 2) Thank you for stealing my idea (by Brendan Curtis), 3) space tourism will become big then (by Yashaswi Singh), and 4) arrives in space "oops wrong floor" (by Justin S).

Poland past history has always had it bad so it’s understandable that they are prepared for the worst? Other western countries need to do the same. With recent comments Putin made about nuclear weapons he would use if Ukraine won is unimaginable.
